She has shared her story to help others know that they do
not have to live in fear and that they do not have to be alone.
Tell us about you mam?
My name is Zainab. I come from Afghanistan and currently live in London, United Kingdom. I am MISS
TOLERANCE 2022 UK. I am a full time mother but I am not a stay at home Mom. Everyday is unique and
filled with many challenges. I’m very good at planning and I create a schedule for my entire day which
integrates with my weekly plan. However, as a Mom I am used to last minute changes in my schedule so
I am fluid when changes occur. I feel very satisfied at the end of the day when I can accommodate these
changes and still accomplish everything I planned for the day. I’m very good at multitasking because I
not only have one child but have three amazing children which means everything to me! I am both
parents for them and a counselor helping them under my responsibility do their homework, participate
and improve on their sports teams and being the best people they can be.
How is your life going?
Whenever I am asked that, (How is your life going?) My face lights up with a bright smile, my eyes get
big and before my brain processes the question, my lips widen up saying “Gooood”!
I can also say no one can say that their life is all good….life is full of trouble and challenges the more you
will face it the more you’ll grow!
What is your drive for life?
I know my real wealth is my health, that’s why I am aware of my physical fitness. I believe that, if our
mentally balance is good we can make awesome decisions. I am emotionally aware, I work on emotional
capability. My life’s purpose is getting inner peace on a daily basis. What things can give me inner peace,
I do that. I think practically then I take decisions after discussion with my ideal, my situation and my kids.
I know that, if I can be happy, then I am able to make others happy also.
Tell us about your inspiration always?
Completing a difficult project, and seeing it through to the end, spotting flaws and errors so as to make
sure the end result of a project is as good as possible finding a way to solve a problem or overcome a
challenge. And the most important part is I believe in myself!
Do you think success always comes with struggle?
Hmmm this one is tricky!. It all depends upon the way you see it. If you call it struggle then it becomes or
seems harder for you to be successful. You might be or won’t be happily successful. Just like a baby
trying to walk from crawling, he doesn’t cry when he falls. He is excited and wants to try again and
again. It’s an adventure, an exciting one. Remember it’s not really a struggle when it’s a passion, chasing
after it.
Elaborate please, what’s more important to be successful?
One of the most important key steps to achieve success in life is to know the meaning of success for
your personal life. The true meaning of success goes far beyond the common definitions of success such

as having a lot of money, being wealthy, having a lot of tangibles and earned degrees. One of the most
important developments is my children and being a strong and successful woman.
You are blessed with real success if you have a peaceful life that comes with satisfaction. Is it?
Of course yes!. Peace of mind can be elusive as success. What’s surprising is, once you find it always it
often feels like you ‘ve already succeeded.
As you are a mother also nothing big than this word “mother”. Any guilt in life?
No one lives there without any Guilt, my biggest guilt is not being able to help another woman who is
left in life. Women who don’t have freedom and aren’t allowed to go to school. Sometimes I want to be
the voice of women who silently cry their pain and no one sees them.
It’s sad and my biggest guilt is I cannot change this.
As you are ‘Miss Tolerance’ of the year 2021. Why did you decide to enter this opportunity?
When I came to participate in this context, it was just when the Taliban took over my country and
banned girls from going to school just for their stupid ideas, I came to show such poeple that no one can
make a decision for someone else, even though I am a person as a woman decide what to do in my life. I
just want to be role a model for every other woman.
Now please show one of your strengths?
My strengths are Being a woman and being a Mother!
What about your hobbies?
I’m on a platform to be a hairdresser and beautician ! One of my hobbies is to master this platform!
Going to the gym to be fit and healthy, Also one thing that I always want to do is be there for the
women who need me I want every woman on this planet to be successful and free….
Exclusive! What will be your future plans now?
I would like to help women in the first step by using the position of Miss Tolerance. Give them
motivation to find their own beauty and their abilities. I myself wish to be a skilled hairdresser and
makeup artist and have my own businessess.
Nothing is impossible for you as you can prove it.

Miss Zainab Sadeqi is a woman of immense beauty and grace, who was recently crowned as theTolerance UK of the Year 2022.
